I hope your in the air before the wheels go up, otherwise you may have problems.

I once had a flight out of Erie late December that required de-icing 2 or 3 times - I forget - due to significant delays due to winter weather and wind. I was on a Dash-8 which was on the edge of the cutoff for wind speed allowed for take-off. The CRJ flights  were all grounded.

A dash 8, I am intimately familiar with that aircraft. Sit in the front, as far forward as possible.
